• Interior designers are the backbone of society. Kidding, kidding. But they are really beneficial to any home project. In addition to creative direction, they can provide technical drawings, project management and trade insights that ensure successful projects and added value to your home.

  • Not all studios are made the same, and that’s okay! At Han Haus, we take a holistic approach to design. We don’t necessarily believe that less is more. We just believe in better essentials that enhance your everyday. That’s going to look different for everyone, but at its root, it means incorporating responsibly produced or sourced items that serve a purpose, promote wellness AND are pretty to look at.

  • Design is a personalized experience, but we work best with clients interested in modern, Scandinavian, bohemian, Japandi, and eclectic styles. We do not do trendy, we do timeless. Having said that, we’re not afraid to take risks and be bold! We think the best designs leave lasting impressions.

  • We give 110% in everything we do. Providing more than one design concept waters down the potential of the two or more concepts presented. Instead, we do our research up front, get to know you and your space, then flesh out a detailed design concept that will hopefully knock your socks off. And if not, we’ll work with you to revise until it’s just right.

  • We primarily work on residential renovations and vacation homes / rentals. We love the creative challenge of working in an existing space to create an entirely new and memorable experience. That said, we’re always open to other exciting projects and would love to collaborate with you.

  • Sustainability is the balance of profit, people and the planet. While consumerism is an inherent part of interior design, we believe that our conscious decisions can create positive impact. By choosing products that are ethical and eco-friendly, we promote wellness for you, the makers and the environment.

  • We’ve tried to create a variety of service offerings that accommodate different investment levels and make our interior design more accessible. If you’re not sure which service is best for your project, please reach out and we’d be happy to work through that with you.

  • We wish we had a good answer for this. It’s entirely dependent upon the project scope, lead times and construction schedules. You can expect that a project will last anywhere from 3-9 months and up.

  • Our full-service fee structures are customized to each project we work on. Typically, we take a hybrid approach meaning we combine a flat fee and hourly rate. This provides both creative freedom and compensation for our time. We elaborate more on this in our project proposals.
